Upper Austria: toddler falls out of window because mother was careless
A toddler fell out of the window on the first floor of an apartment building in the Ried district on Wednesday afternoon. The mother (36) had put the one and a half year old daughter on the board in front of the open kitchen window to get some fresh air with her.

When the woman turned away for a moment, the girl lost her balance and fell four meters down a street. When the rescue came, it was responsive and was taken to the Ried hospital, according to the police.
