Scandal: ORF suspends moderator after ZiB appearance

Rafreider was doing so badly that at the end of the program he even had to support himself at the news desk – and none of the highly paid station managers intervened. It was not until Wednesday morning – and after great media excitement – that the moderator was released from all tasks by the ORF. Rafreider explained his questionable appearance with “personal and family reasons” and apologized to his colleagues, they say. What is also explosive is that it was not the first time that the moderator was conspicuous. In 2018 he was banned from the screen for several months after serious allegations.
