Because of pink tulle dresses and diamond-studded tiaras! Ingrid Alexandra of Norway, daughter of Crown Prince Haakon (48) and Crown Princess Mette-Marit (48), has now swapped the traditional princess outfit for a green aviator overalls. During a visit to the Norwegian Air Force in Bodø, the young princess was allowed to ride a combat jet fly with you. In the rear seat of an F-16 fighter plane, she was able to experience large parts of northern Norway from the air, including the Lofoten, announced the Norwegian royal house. Before that, the most important missions of the Norwegian air defense had been explained to her at the base in Bodø, 850 kilometers north of Oslo. Before she could get into the air with the F-16, the pretty princess had to undergo a thorough medical check-up.
For Ingrid Alexandra it was already the second outing to the military this year. In November she had inspected a special unit in Rena. The visit was a confirmation present from the armed forces. And even then the pretty daughter of Crown Prince Haakon showed a lot of courage – and jumped in full gear from a height of twelve meters down a tower where the soldiers usually practice parachuting. According to the court, further visits to the military are to follow.
