Lara Gut (26) caused a shock in the 2nd Super-G in St.Moritz. In the lower part it loses the line, drives almost unbraked into the safety net and flies over both nets.
Fortunately, helpers were with her immediately. After a few minutes the relief followed: Gut sat up without outside help, a little later even stood on his feet. It is a miracle that she got away with this violent fall without injuries.

The race was disappointing for the other ÖSV women. Mirjam Puchner (2.81) caught a botched trip. After a good performance last time she reached the finish line almost three seconds late after two mistakes.
Christine Scheyer (+3.00) was also big behind. Vorarlberg’s Ariane Rädler (+1.70), who started the race with number 23, prevented a debacle for the ÖSV women with fifth place.
