This time, however, he did not stir up the stock market, ponder crypto currencies or announced new plans to colonize Mars, but rather shares thoughts about his own professional future with his followers. Apparently, the eccentric billionaire is thinking about a career change. Accordingly, he toyed with the idea of quitting his jobs as Tesla and SpaceX bosses and instead becoming an influencer: “Think about quitting my jobs and becoming a full-time influencer – what do you think,” tweeted Musk on Thursday.
Whether he is serious is another matter. After all, Musk is more than notorious for his impulsive remarks, and he’s an influencer anyway: He has over 66 million followers on this platform, and his tweets have repeatedly caused sharp fluctuations in Tesla stock in the past.
