As reported by the Cypriot media, the mysterious disappearance of two Russian vacationers on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus has been cleared up. The two were housed in a house where work was being carried out. A 32-year-old Syrian was working on the construction site. The women are said to have talked and laughed about him – this made him feel hurt in his honor and took up arms. He confessed to shooting and then burying 43-year-old Alraeesi Khaiat, 43, and 33-year-old Mariia Gazibagandova behind the house. The two women had been to Cyprus as tourists and disappeared without a trace since November 17th.
The Syrian migrant, who is married to a Cypriot woman, is said to have even used the credit card of one of the women who were killed after the murder. The DNA and blood of one of the Russian women were also found on a cement mixer near the house. A 23-year-old statesman is said to have helped him in the act. He was also arrested.
