The alleged paramedic anonymously draws attention to “the list” in an email. And he also sends a photo of it to our editorial team.
“… apparently since now it is no longer just posted who has to be tested (vaccinated every 7 days, unvaccinated every 48 hours) but also who is“ fully immunized ”or“ not immunized ””, he writes.
“Where’s the data protection?” The employee asks. The list is publicly hanging on the notice board in front of the boss’s office, where postmen, cleaning staff and general external persons would also pass by. “As an unvaccinated person, I feel as if the great bullying has opened up on me and other unvaccinated people in the company,” he fears.
The list is not the only grievance that the anonymous “whistleblower” criticizes. The author, who signs his mail with “Sandra”, continues:
“A lot goes wrong, especially at work, and nobody seems to care. Mask required 24/7 in the car and on the base, but while they preach this and scold the employees, the gentlemen in the office do not wear a mask themselves. We take Covid patients through Vienna almost every day and receive neither the 500 euro corona bonus from the state nor an infection allowance from the company. Civilian service interns who are not yet qualified paramedics because the final exam is still missing are sent to scratch with non-medical staff (only medical staff can do this) but if the boss is from the Red Party of Vienna, this apparently works without any problems. ” (Error in the original)
The letter was also sent to the FPÖ in Vienna. City councilor Dominik Nepp calls for consequences. “Such a publicly displayed list leads to a division of the employees. This approach is a scandal in terms of data protection law. The fact that the superiors pillory unvaccinated employees in front of their colleagues, but then do not wear masks even in the office, shows how hypocritical this action is. Such lists should be removed immediately and those responsible should be held accountable. “
So far nobody from the Samariterbund could be reached by phone for our inquiries. A written request for a statement also remained unanswered.
