EMA begins investigation of Covid-19 drug Paxlovid

In order to enable countries to use it at an early stage even before market approval, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has started an investigation of the Covid-19 drug Paxlovid. This drug is manufactured by Pfizer. The EMA announced that existing data from tests with paxlovid in sick people at risk of a severe course would be evaluated.
