FPÖ demo: Participants must wear an FFP2 mask
With the current tightening of corona measures, the rules for demonstrations have also been adapted. At rallies with more than 50 people, it is now mandatory to wear FFP2 masks. If all participants can prove that they have been vaccinated or have recovered, the FFP2 mask requirement can be waived. This also applies to the large FPÖ demonstration in downtown Vienna on the weekend.

Because more than 50 people are expected for the announced demonstration against the corona protective measures in downtown Vienna on Saturday – the FPÖ speaks of a “mass rally” – there will be an FFP2 obligation.
In the past, it was mandatory to wear a mask at gatherings, rallies or demonstrations of more than 100 people, unless all people had a 3G certificate.
