Yesterday, Sunday, at 6 p.m. in the Favoriten district, a dispute broke out between a North Macedonian (37) and a man (31), in which a knife was again drawn. According to witnesses, there was a scuffle in which the accused pushed his victim around two meters down a subway exit. According to the statements, the Macedonian threatened his opponent with killing him with a knife.
Reason for the argument: The 31-year-old is said to have been asked for help by a friend. This friend, however, is likely to be the ex-wife of the North Macedonian, with whom she had recently met in a pub. After meeting the ex, the woman is said to have felt quite uncomfortable and therefore notified the 31-year-old.
For the North Macedonian citizen, that was probably enough as a reason for an argument – with a knife. The perpetrator was provisionally arrested on suspicion of dangerous threats by police officers from the Sibeliusstrasse Police Station.
