A family from the Berlin district of Pankow has been trying to find their 7-year-old Jack Russel Oskar for two months using the hashtag #findetoskar. The family writes on Instagram: “These are pretty much the hardest hours of our time as a small family. Our wonderful dog Oskar was kidnapped last Thursday.” They ask for help in the search via social media.
In order to find her little one again, his owner resorted to the most unusual means. So she pulled a roast chicken – Oscar’s favorite dish – from the place where he was last seen, down the floor to her apartment. So Oskar should be able to pick up the track and find his way back home. She also diluted his food with water and poured it onto one of her T-shirts. Then she distributed the food in the area around her home. In the meantime, a sniffer dog was working in another part of the city – he was able to roughly locate Oskar. The little Jack Russell Terrier is said to have been born there – but the witnesses were unable to capture him.
The family is still looking for their “best friend and family member” by all means.
