There’s nothing like Covid test kits that deliver false-positive results. In the United States, more than 2.2 million such failed tests have now been recalled.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has the “most serious type of recall” for popular home test kits arrangedshowing whether someone is infected with the coronavirus. At least 2.2 million products may have false positives.
The test kits, which are manufactured by Australia-based biotech company Ellume and sold in the United States, may show false positive SARS-CoV-2 test results, the health agency said in a statement Thursday. The FDA warned that use of the defective kits “could cause serious adverse health effects or death,” calling the case a Class I recall.
The antigen test, which is supposed to detect coronavirus proteins, was approved for emergency use by the FDA last year. It is available without a prescription for adults and children over the age of two and uses swab samples from the nose. This is to determine whether someone is infected with the coronavirus or at least has RNA fragments of it in their body. Some “specific lots” made between February and August of this year are now being recalled in the US. The company said it had worked with authorities to voluntarily withdraw the affected tests from the market. The company apologizes “for any stress or difficulty that may arise [Kunden] due to a false positive result ”.
False results that were “higher than acceptable” have been reported to the FDA on at least 35 cases, indicating that a person has the coronavirus when in fact they don’t have it. No false negative results were found. However, the imprecise diagnosis could have life-threatening consequences. People could be treated improperly or unnecessarily, including with antivirals and antibodies, and suffer additional trauma from having to isolate themselves from family members and friends. It could also lead to people disregarding precautionary measures and, for example, failing to get vaccinated against Covid-19 with the experimental vaccines, according to the FDA.
PCR tests are also not suitable
It has been known for months that the so-called “gold standard”, the RT-PCR tests, are unsuitable for identifying infections. In the end, they are in fact useless anyway, as scientists have already established. This is shown by the reports here, here and here. Because they can only say that certain RNA fragments are present. However, this does not mean whether someone is actually infected or whether someone else can be infected. Yet these tests continue to be used to maintain the chimera of a “pandemic”.
The ruling politics only want a confirmation of their narrative in order to maintain all the restrictions. Once the politicians have gained power, they are reluctant to give it up again. That is why they hold on to the state of emergency all the more vehemently. Control over the population just has to stop.
