Just get on the plane and forget everyday life on the beach for a few days. What was completely normal before Corona, is likely to become more difficult in the future for those people who are not vaccinated against the Corona virus. For all those who do not fall under the 2G rule, “quarantine-free” travel should hardly be possible. On Thursday, Federal Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg and Vorarlberg’s Governor gave a press statement after a joint discussion. The current corona situation and other measures were discussed.
Both Schallenberg and Wallner emphasized the importance of vaccination. The “only breakwater” is the third stitch. There would be no way around a lockdown for the unvaccinated unless the low vaccination rate is increased rapidly. The Chancellor also commented on the subject of travel: “I think you have to be aware of that: For those who do not fall under 2G, mobility – quarantine-free – will hardly be possible anymore.” What could soon happen in Austria is already a reality in the Czech Republic. Unvaccinated people can no longer enter here without quarantine. Only those who meet the 2G rule are allowed to travel into the country without any restrictions.
