The excitement over the de facto work ban for a society editor who does not want to be vaccinated is still well remembered. Now the ORF top wants to go even further: Not only those employees who have a lot of contacts in the field should only be allowed to “recover” or “vaccinated” at work, but now the 2G rule should apply to everyone who is in “tight “And” system-critical “areas work.
That is a special rule. Because the 3G rule applies throughout Austria, so employees who do not want to be vaccinated but are healthy and can prove this with a current test are allowed to appear on duty.
For the FPÖ, the new ORF regulation is “a strong piece”, says the blue media spokesman Christian Hafenecker on a party-affiliated blog: “Quite a few labor law experts have declared a 2G obligation at the workplace to be unconstitutional, but the ORF is tough on its employees. ”
The ORF employees would now be given the choice: Either vaccinate – or lose their job. Until November 17th, hundreds of employees of the state fee transmitter would have to submit a “vaccination declaration” confirming their vaccination.
In addition, according to Hafenecker, the guests of the political discussion on ORF must be “vaccinated” or “recovered” – FPÖ boss Herbert Kickl is therefore no longer allowed to participate in these debates in the future.
