In Singapore, the wet dream of many vaccination fascists is now supposedly coming true: Unvaccinated corona patients are expected from December 8th Pay for their treatment yourself. Previously, the state had borne all costs for Covid treatments.
Singapore is one of the numerous countries in which the high vaccination rate, including corona measures, did not result in any success in terms of the number of Covid cases. Nevertheless, they stick to the vaccination campaign and clings to the narrative of the allegedly mild course of disease in unvaccinated people. It would undoubtedly be gratifying if the controversial vaccines had a positive effect, at least here – unfortunately, there is little interest on the part of governments worldwide in disclosing whether patients are being tested in hospitals regardless of their vaccination status and whether Covid cases are actually because of Covid -Symptoms are hospitalized. With this questionable database, nobody should be surprised if parts of the population are suspicious and critically question any alleged effects of vaccinations.
The fact that unvaccinated “Covid patients” now have to cope with their treatment themselves reinforces the claims of the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” at first: waves of seriously ill unvaccinated people seem to be flooding the hospitals in Singapore. A look at the specific figures gives the all-clear.
99% of positive cases have mild to no symptoms
So summarizes the Ministry of Health on his website together:
The daily number of cases has stabilized for around three weeks. While cases have stayed at an average of more than 3,000 per day, nearly 99% of cases continue to have mild or no symptoms, and the vast majority can recover well at home. The proportion of patients requiring oxygen supplementation has remained constant at 0.8% of our total cases over the past 28 days, and the proportion of patients requiring intensive care is 0.3%. The number of ICU cases remains high but stable at around 140 cases, which make up 70% of our current ICU bed capacity.
Tiny number of patients is said to put the health system in trouble
However, a disproportionately high proportion of unvaccinated people is said to be among the serious people counted as Covid cases. Of course, one should first look at the numbers in relation to one another: If one assumes one Total population of around 5.45 million people in Singapore, The proportion of so-called Covid intensive care patients (around 140 according to the ministry) in the population is 0.0026%. 1,725 people, or 0.03% of the total population, are in hospital with Covid-19. So there is no reason to panic in Singapore.
Nevertheless, the Ministry of Health states on its website that unvaccinated people made up the majority of Covid intensive care patients and thus would contribute disproportionately to the burden on the health system. From it one deduces:
Therefore, from December 8, 2021, we will be billing COVID-19 patients who have voluntarily not been vaccinated.[1] This applies to all unvaccinated COVID-19 patients admitted to hospitals and COVID-19 treatment facilities on or after December 8, 2021. Medical bills for COVID-19 patients who are not eligible for vaccination will continue to be paid in full by the government, i.e. children under the age of 12 or unqualified persons.
Insured people keep their insurance coverage
Since only a small proportion of the population tests positive and only a tiny proportion of them require medical treatment at all, Fortunately, the number of people affected will be very small. In truth, this affects primarily those people who do not pay into any form of insurance:
COVID-19 patients who are voluntarily not vaccinated may still be able to use regular health funding arrangements to pay their bills – Singaporeans and permanent residents may have access to regular government subsidies and the MediShield Life / Integrated Shield Plan (MSHL / IP) , while holders of a long-term pass can fall back on their usual financing modalities, such as private insurance.
MediShield Life is a basic health insurance policy that covers some of their treatment in public hospitals for all Singaporeans and permanent residents of Singapore. Integrated Shield Plans are extensions of this insurance – ultimately private supplementary insurance, which may also cover the costs for the entire treatment. The only dubious change is that the government of Singapore is lifting its special regulation to generally accept Covid-19 treatments for the population for unvaccinated people. If you pay for your health insurance, you can logically take advantage of it regardless of your vaccination status.
This is what vaccination fascists in this country do not want to understand: Unvaccinated people pay their health insurance contributions just like vaccinated people – and the services financed in this way are in fact not allowed to take away from them. Because: Unvaccinated people also pay the Covid vaccinations, which they refuse for whatever reason – including their consequential damage. The solidarity system runs in both directions. Whether vaccination preachers want it or not.
