On the move in the Railjet – 13 asylum seekers picked up at Vienna Central Station
The Austrian immigration police picked up thirteen migrants on Thursday evening who were on a train from Budapest. You were probably on your way to Germany. The officers arrested them. You have now applied for asylum in Vienna.
When the men were arrested, it quickly became apparent that they were illegally staying in Austria. The men are 10 Syrian, two Egyptian and one Iraqi nationals between the ages of 17 and 49. The police arrested the men and took them to the Federal Office for Immigration, where they applied for asylum.
