At around 2:40 p.m., witnesses alerted the police because they had observed an argument between the man and a woman. When the executive arrived, the Austrian citizen was still holding the knife, which had a blade about eight inches long, and was waving it around.
The raging man was extremely aggressive, spat and further provoked the police. Finally the taser was used. The man was injured and hospitalized. There the projectiles of the taser were removed from him.
In the meantime, 29 pieces of shotgun ammunition have been seized from the man’s apartment. The man shouldn’t have owned these at all due to an upright gun ban. According to the “Krone”, the attacker is under police arrest.
