The safety of visitors is a top priority for the city. Therefore, with a heavy heart, the decision was made to extend the New Year’s Eve Trail in 2021.
The Vienna New Year’s Eve Trail was first organized at the turn of the year 1990/91 by the City of Vienna, the Vienna Tourism Association and the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. The Vienna New Year’s Eve Path has been a very popular place for the New Year for three decades. Year after year, 800,000 people from all over the world come to Vienna to experience spectacular fireworks and to ring in the new year on Vienna’s largest party mile.
