After a Swiss (31) drove his imposing sports car into the Mondsee on October 19 and had to call in assistants, photos were taken that could almost come from a James Bond film. But this is not really a film shoot by a James Bond with the Swiss as the new protagonist. In fact, there was an accident. The driver drove together with a friend (40) from Mondsee towards Unterach am Attersee. When he stopped at a parking lot to let his co-driver out, he tried to turn around, mistaking the brake pedal for the accelerator and drove backwards into the Mondsee. 15 meters from the shore, the sports car sank to five meters. However, the whole thing went off lightly. The Swiss made a stunt that was ready for action film: he managed to free himself on his own and swim to the shore. The scene of the accident did not escape his companion. Immediately he started the rescue chain and provided first aid. The young man was brought to the Salzkammergut Clinic in Gmunden Vöcklabruck with injuries of indefinite degree.
