Finally, with the help of the public prosecutor, the big goal has been achieved: Kurz is gone and broken. The united anti-Kurzen could therefore go back to their traditional profession: namely to represent the people in shaping the country. And to work so that the mountains of problems that have piled up behind fighting the pandemic are removed.
But no, the representatives of the people have a more important goal: The ÖVP has to go. The U committee is supposed to do that. However: shouldn’t the judiciary first be able to “work in peace” so that the annoying presumption of innocence is finally off the table? And so that the criminal law and the political reappraisal do not constantly block each other?
Of course: Kai Jan Krainer and Stefanie Krisper, Christian Hafenecker and Nina Tomaselli would then have to do without their daily ZiB appearances, where they do not even notice that they are ruining their own parties at the same time. The voter deterrent program they are working through will not be very beneficial for the next elections. And that election day / payday is coming sooner than most will like.
Why not put the media bribery advertisements off completely with a common energy – namely by constitutional law, which also prohibits Vienna and Co. from investing tax money in improving their image? Why not work together on a courage project for the future – a real pension reform that will give future generations air to breathe? Why aren’t the epidemic laws, health insurance reforms, and the education system modernized based on the experience with the pandemic? And: Why is climate policy finally no longer being guided by Greta Thunberg and scientific half-truths, but by clear expertise that also keeps an eye on the country’s economic survival?
The British Treasury Secretary has already warned that on behalf of the CO2-Freedom the economy will collapse. This winter will bring us the first blackouts. Many people in our rich country will not be able to afford heating sufficiently.
But the parliamentarians are beating the ÖVP.
Herbert Kickl, who is already the only one to occupy a factual issue (and it would be high time for everyone not to dismiss those who refused to be vaccinated as “ragged”, but to deal with them factually), only needs to take action. He only has to call out at the first blackout after a revival of closed fossil-thermal power plants, to fight inflation in the name of saving the climate, to fight the CO2-Convert the bonus into a heating cost subsidy and also promise tight borders against illegal immigration, then he is ahead. And “Pam” or “Dosko”, Kogler and Meinl-Reisinger then at least have a common concern – “Kickl has to go”.
